The 2025 KTM 350 SX-F hits a sweet spot in the motocross world, combining serious performance with a rideable, agile feel. Its 349.7 cc four-stroke singles out power that’s lively in the mid-range without feeling brutal, while the bore/stroke and compression allow it to rev up cleanly when needed. It’s equipped with modern tech like an electric starter, hydraulic Brembo brakes, and a Keihin EFI system that helps make its throttle behavior predictable and usable. In short, it’s a bike that can win races, yet not beat up the rider when things get tough.

On the chassis and handling front, KTM has refined things well for 2025. The frame updates—lighter components, better engine mounts, revised rear shock mount geometry, and subtle cutouts—improve flex and feedback, particularly in cornering and rough terrain. Suspension comes from WP XACT (with AER in front) and is tuned with more aggressive settings, more ground clearance, and travel that balances big jump capability with control. Ergonomics are tight and rider-focused: new plastics, tank shape, grip points, and components that give good contact, especially when standing or maneuvering through technical sections.

As with any high-performance motocross machine, there are trade-offs. The seat height and overall physical demand are significant; for shorter riders or those less experienced, it might feel tall and demanding, especially in tight, slow sections. Fuel capacity is modest, so you’ll want to plan fuel stops or expect that when pushed hard, the bike can go through fuel quickly. Maintenance, setup, and suspension tuning matter a lot—getting those dialed in will bring out the bike’s best, but if neglected, you may find performance and comfort suffer.
