2024 GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition

The 2024 GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition raises the bar in the 450 motocross class by combining race-ready capability with premium components and customization right out of the box. It features a 449.9 cc four-stroke engine with a 44 mm Keihin throttle body, electric start, Brembo hydraulic clutch, and a lightweight 2 Ah battery. The chassis has been refined—in particular, motor mounts, frame wall thickness, and cut-outs near the shock mount area—to improve chassis flex, weight distribution, and corner entrance stability.

On the suspension, brakes, wheels, and ergonomic side, this Factory Edition excels. Up front there’s a 48 mm WP XACT USD fork with around 310 mm of travel, and a similarly capable rear WP XACT shock with about 300 mm travel helps absorb big jumps, ruts, and high-speed chop. Footpegs, handlebar mounts, and the contact surfaces have been improved for better grip and control when pushing hard. The brake setup is top-tier, and lightweight wheels plus high-grip Dunlop MX34 tires give it confidence inspiring handling.

That said, the MC 450F Factory Edition is a very high-performance machine, and with that comes demands. Its seat height is tall, ground clearance is generous, and weight (sans fuel) remains significant—for riders who are smaller, less experienced, or often riding on technical, tight terrain, it can be tiring. Also, all those premium parts, electronics, and special finishes mean greater maintenance needs and tougher costs when things need rebuilding or replacing. Overall, if you're racing or pushing seriously, it’s one of the best tools you can get; if you're more casual, many of its advantages might go under-utilized.
